Valentino Diego
Born in Ciriè (TO) in 1978; lives and works in Rome.
In his works, Valentino Diego questions the problematic of space and spatial elements, with an analysis and a reaction to what is conventional in the relation between the people and these.
His installations have often a site-specifc character, for they come out by thought and inspiration on the spatial conditions before the artist's intervention.
Using often cheap materials, such as cardboard, MDF and plain metal, Valentino plays a significant transformation of the visual and experiential conventions of a space, often detourning the viewer who finds his perceptual and movement normalities altered.
