Valentina Noferini was born in Rome, where she lives and works, in 1978.
In her works the research of a relation with the outside world is constant, and made concrete in paradoxical and ironic situations where the artist is always present as an agent.
Waiting for something to happen becomes the central element of her videos, and leads to a quick epilogue of a rapid and proper “action” that the viewer can witness.
In the work casa mia,(2004) there is an evident referral to a personal shelter, a cardboard house built in a desolate and loud space, unique visual and audio prologue to a final “contact” with the outside.
